About Lisa Rydin Erickson
Living in Saint Paul, Minnesota Lisa received a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute in painting and printmaking. Since 2011 she has been drawing and animating on her iPad and more recently she has been exploring and producing contemplative abstract poured indigo dye works on canvas.
With the iPad she has turned out animations which since have been shown at MSP International Film Festival, U of MN Nature-Based Therapeutics conferences, Minnesota State Fair and MinnAnimate.
Her career has been full of fine art painting, murals and backdrops, teaching art and presentation animations and artwork for the U of MN Nature Based Therapeutics. Her work can be found in local Twin City shops and here in her website shop.
History as a Creative Maker
Lisa has a history of working and collaborating with other artists from painting and mural work to sumi-e style illustration and stop-motion animation.
In the last year, Lisa's work has been in stores in the Twin Cities in Minnesota and a few other spots.

Partnerships In the Community
Her digital iPad images are translated into artwork from framed prints and cards to fabric design.
Lisa produces a wide variety of her own images as well as commissions for stores and partnerships with companies for theme and seasonally-related products.
Partnerships have included Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Nature-Based Therapeutics at U of M, Foxglove Studio & Market and Golden Rule.
